3. OU has both a law school and a medical school.
4. OU is has the largest number of National Merit Scholars enrolled in the nation.
5. OU is ranked in the top 100 of best college buys.

Great idea for a Thursday Thirteen! This is my first visit to your blog, and I really like it.
My best friend in KS is originally an Oakie, and they go back for OU games all the time. I've never been there, but have only heard great things about the place. ;)
Good idea for a list! I am not sure if I remember 13 things from my alma mater. It's been....a while.
someone else who loves their school as much as I did!
I liked this idea for TT...It sounds like you had a good time at school. I played too. Stacie
neat!
my list is up:)
Wow! What a great list, another reason I wish I would have finished school. You still have great school spirit!
sounds like fun- interesting stuff. have a great thursday!
A lot of Sooners are pretty enthusiastic about theor alma mater, huh?! and very supportive of their football team.
Awesome list! We briefly had a stint in Texas and I gotta say, that was the best watching the Texas/Oklahoma game...we didn't care who won, but it sure is a great rivalry.
Very cool idea. I may steal this idea someday...
My list is up too!
I don't think I know that many things about my alma mater. I barely remember that I went to college!
Great list! Thanks for visiting today!
I am in awe of the passion you guys (in the US) feel for your universities. I think here in the UK people are a lot more blasé about the whole thing... perhaps we take education for granted? I don't know, but I like it better your way!
Hewwo Princess! I just thought I'd let you know I'm still coming to your bloggie! I just don't have time to post a comment anymore! :)
Great idea for a TT list.
BTW-I love your new look!!! It's so happy and pink-I love pink:)
Cool facts :) And that's pretty cool about the number of National Merit scholars.
Have a wonderful day, and thanks for stopping by my blog :)
WOW crimson and cream color, I wish i could see that hehe, I'm glad you had a marvellous time at OU and that's just a great way to show you love your school!!
Happy TT. my list is up.
My first tim here. Great TT. I'll definately stop back by. I'm also in the legal industry, only I'm a paralegal.
My TT is up :)
Woohoo, school pride, I love it!
You have a much better school for an alma matter than my human pet. She went to Indiana University of Pennsylvania for her undergrad. How confusing is that?
Great Thursday Thirteen!
Hey! We're neighbors! But I'm gonna have to disagree with you on the whole Sooners are better thing - the Missouri State University Bears are better. *grin*
Thanks for stopping by and happy TT!
Sounds like a really great place! I remember my college days...so much fun! Man, I feel old! :)
That is one mighty interesting list, thanks for sharing :)
I don't know that much about OU - thanks for sharing!!
school spirit - it's a great thing to see!
Wonderful idea for a tt! crimson and creme, huh? I don't know the "Boomer Sooner" song but I guess I can google that in order to listen to it! happy TT!

Wow - that's alot of info!! Great idea! Oh - and I LOVE LOVE LOVE your new blog design!! =)
My good friend is a huge Sooner Fan, and my husband is a huge Longhorn fan...it makes for some fun times when we get together!!
Happy Thursday!
Hmmm.....let me guess ....you went there! Sounds wonderful. Thanks for the fun facts about a great university.
Great idea for a list! Sweet that your alma mater means so much to you. :)
Thanks for visiting my TT!
LOL... college??? what's that?
I like the touchdown traditon. Don't know the song boomer sooner.
Boomer Sooner! I've been thinking about OU a lot lately...I hope Eli goes there so he can experience all the fun we had! (and so he's close to home). :)
Great t13 idea! I was a National Merit Scholar (as were several of my high school classmates), and Oklahoma tried to recruit us all with a very tempting scholarship offer. It was just a bit too far away from home for me.
You seem to have come from a good school Nice memories of it.
Thanks for dropping by.
Crimson and creme. Those were my high school colors
I had no idea that OU was so impressive.
very interesting.
Have a great weekend.

A little late, but I made it. Great school, great football team--I am a big college football person. I am also very proud of my alma mater. I may have to educate my readers on what a wonderful school I went to. Thanks for stopping by mine. Looks like the wedding was a blast and beautiful! Congrats to her!
