13 Things About Me
1. I really need to get back in the habit of working out. I gained too much weight from stress eating while I was studying for the bar earlier this year, and I really need to fit back into my suits.
2. I really love being my own boss.
3. I opened my first "business" checking account this week
4. My dogs use "doggie stairs" so they can get up on my bed without my help.
5. Belicia will only use the stairs to climb up, and Tzeitel will only use them to climb down.
6. Since I've opened my own law office I haven't been reading for pleasure at all.
7. Last Friday I bought 3 pairs of pants and a shirt for 58 bucks.
8. I've been very, very tired for these past two weeks.
9. While leaving for the lake, I stepped on a piece of wood that went through my flip-flop and into my foot. I thought it was a nail it was so sturdy and hurt so badly. Thank goodness it wasn't.
10. Monday morning I got to work out of the home because I don't have internet yet in my office and needed to do research.
11. The learning curve for opening a law office is not a curve. It is a vertical climb straight up.
13. I wish I could have several more chihuahuas.

#1 is important! I've lost 40 lbs in one year (about 30 to go, too!) and the only thing that's getting them off now IS working out. Believe me, I am not the working out type! But, yes, if you do make it a habit, it can work. Good luck!

And I'm glad to hear that you didn't get a nail through your foot. That wouldn't have been any fun.

I haven't posted in a while-found out I'm expecting my second baby! Congratulations on your new office. Here is to success for you!
It is soooo cute that you have stairs up to your bed for your babies. Daddy picks up our lil princess every night and sets her on a pillow in between our pillows.
Congrats, I have a friend who is studying for the bar and plans to take it soon (hopefully). Though I dont have dogs, I find my cats taking running starts at the cat tree or bed...not sure they would use the steps though.

I'd have a dozen dachshunds if I could. I just love them. Maybe when I'm an old lady I'll get a house and just have dachshunds for company.

My sister just got a chihuahua from a neighbor who went to Iraq. I haven't met him yet. I hear him in the background on the phone when she calls. Hope your foot is feeeling better!
