Wedding Bliss

This weekend was my friend Lauren's wedding. It was a perfect affair, and both the wedding and reception were beautiful paling only in comparison to the gorgeous bride. I was very honored to man the guestbook for the bride, as she has a huge family. I always feel honored to be a part of anyone's wedding in any way. Its such an important day. The reception was purple and beautiful and the interior of the reception hall was breathtakingly beautiful. There was even a white chocolate fountain to dip fruit in. Yummy!

The town where the wedding was held is the home town of one of our best friends from law school. This friend's last name is "Booze" and he always jokes, as he is an attorney, "Booze will get you into trouble, and Booze will get you out." I always think that's funny when he says that. Casey and I spent the weekend with him and ending up going fishing in the middle of a pasture. No matter how you slice it, we're just country here. I mean really...how many people from major areas go fishing in a pasture until midnight? But, its so beautiful and peaceful and the sound of cattle hoofs thumping on the grass as the herd runs is so soothing.

Pics are below of the very fun weekend.

Congratulations to your friend, Lauren! Mmm, white chocolate fountains sound absolutely delicious! Great choice!

I wish I could have gone fishing with you as I see in the bottom picture you have a pole in your hands. There really is no need for that. You could have learned a thing or two about real fishing from me as I do it with my bare paws, missy. You have to become one with the fish as you lay in the water, harnessing the power of your chakras to release your primal energy, and then...oh, what's the use? It takes too long to explain.

Next time, forget the pole, and invite me!

Nope, just has to be regular chocolate, preferably, dark chocolate!
Love the wedding shots. I love weddings. All the promise of a happy future, or (if you're a lawyer LOL) a new client in a couple of years! Oooops, not that's in Hollywood, not Oklahoma!

Sounds like a great time, although I'm with maribeth, dark chocolate or at least milk chocolate for me, or what's the point?

It sounds like you had a great time anyway!

Thanks so much for the visit! I'm very excited about starting law school, but kind of nervous at the same time. I've been through grad school, so I have experience beyond undergrad, but law school will be a whole new ball of wax. Right now the main task at hand is getting myself an apartment by my new school so I actually have a roof over my head LOL.

Glad you had fun at the wedding!

Congrats to your friend. Looks like a beautiful wedding.

And hey living in the country..there's nothing like hanging out at the lake at night. Even though I don't fish, I still just love the country sounds!
