...And This Little Piggie Went Home

The other night I was shopping in Wal-Mart. I was just walking along, pushing my cart, and minding my own business. Then, the left back wheel on the cart decided it wanted to fight. It started talking dirty and throwing its weight around to my left pinkie toe.

Before I knew it, Pinkie had had enough and she started talking back to Left Back Wheel. They bickered for a few minutes and the next thing I knew "BAM!" Left Back Wheel had a run in with Pinkie. Pinkie lost. In fact, she was a big loser.

So, there I am bleeding profusely on the cleaning supply aisle. I decide, since the jeans I had on were brand spanking new, that I should roll them up like I'm wading in water so they won't get Pinkie's blood on them. That worked pretty well, but now everytime I put on shoes Pinkie wants to whine and complain.

With every step I take she's gritching and griping about Left Back Wheel and how she's gonna show him the next time she's in her pretty pink Old Navy flip flops at Wal-Mart. I think she's actually more mad than she should be, which could be due to the fact that I cram her in high heels to go to work all day long. Pinkie keeps wanting me to sue Wal-Mart since I'm technically already her attorney, but I'm refusing.

I guess this is my punishment for shopping at Wal-Mart corp.

hugs, love and chihuahua kisses

I agree with Pinkie. The carts at Walmart are the worse when it comes to noisy wheels with minds of their own!!

Hope your Pinkie gets to feeling better soon. Can't you slip your heels off once you are in the office and pamper her with a nice slide or fluffy shoe?

My son watches Noggin a lot, and there is (maybe not now, but for what seemed like FOREVER) a small segment where some guy (he looks famous, but I can't place him) reads a book about a little boy who gets in trouble because his toes tell him to do bad things or they do the bad things or tell on him! I think Pinkie might be running with the wrong gang and might have picked on that wheel to start a fight. Perhaps some parental intervention on the Big Toe's part might be in order!

Poor Pinkie! I hope you feel better soon, but perhaps next time, you could stay out of the evil clutches of the Wal-mart cart. Those things are ruthless!

Hey, I was punished at Walmart a couple of weeks back. I went to pick up a box, which apparently someone had previously returned and not repackaged well. Something was sticking out of the back of the box and cut a chunk out of my arm. I was also bleeding profusely! At first all I could find was a receipt in my purse and used it to keep blood off my most comfy shirt, finally I scrounged out a tissue! Man, Walmart is a dangerous place!
