Thursday 13

13 Things I'm Thankful For

For some reason I just felt like coming up with 13 things to complain about, so I decided to try to change my current outlook by doing a list of 13 things I'm thankful for.

1. My salvation
2. My husband
3. My parents
4. Little-Girl
5. The girls
6. I'm thankful that I have food everyday.
7. I'm thankful that I have a place to live.
8. I'm thankful that I can afford heat and air conditioning.
9. health insurance
10. I'm healthy.
11. I'm thankful that Wal-Mart has started carrying more organic and soy products.
12. I'm thankful that I've been able to visit NYC
13. I'm thankful that I live in America.

Get the Thursday 13 code here.

See other Thirteeners here.

Hugs, love and chihuahua kisses

It's so nice to look at all the things we may take for granted and be thankful for them!

I try to do this every day.

Peace! and happy 13!

I think that is a great list, but I am going to have to disagree with number eleven. What Wal-Mart needs to be carrying more of are salmon, flounder, catfish, perch, and tuna!

Mmm...tuna...alright, now I'm hungry! Excuse me...I'm salivating all over my keyboard.

Loved your list! I'm always trying so hard to see 'the other' side of thing, being more appreciative. Sometimes it's difficult, but always so worth it!

I'm thankful for health insurance too, but would be even more so if it was a tad more affordable.

I thank God everyday for the person or persons who invented air-conditioning, and am thankful for Wal-Mart period.

This is a remarkable attitude you've displayed here. We truly take our riches (spiritual/emotional/material) for granted way too often. Nice to stop and take stock of what we can be grateful for.

I will do the same one day... when I'm done bitching and moaning! ;D

Excellent framing on your thoughts. Looking at what's right instead of what's wrong. I write that way a lot. Way to go!
