Friends

Saturday night I went to TGIFridays with two of my high school friends. One of whom has just gotten a new boyfriend and I got to meet him too. We had a great time, and truly exercised the North Pole Diet's rules.

The girls, on the other hand, were anxiously awaiting their "Tristmas" present at their Granny's house. As usual, there were no shortage of new toys and treats.

After all that playing, the girls were tuckered out.

The North Pole Diet

I know that you, dear readers, are wildy anxious to learn the details of the North Pole Diet. I am still doing very well following this diet, and do not intend to go back South Beach style until Tuesday. As I am Messianic, the girls get Hanukah with me and Christmas with their dog-grandparents.

Details of North Pole Diet:

1. Eat no low carb items.
2. Eat no vegetables.
3. Continue eating when you are full.
4. Eat all the high carb and high fat foods your little tummy can handle.
5. Repeat this process several times a day.
6. Snacks should be full of sugary goodness.

Glad I could help dear readers!

Pink Chihuahua Princess, Esquire

Almost everyday of my life I leave my office feeling that I've made a difference in at least one person's life. My practice is mostly made up of divorces and adoptions--so either way I'm dealing with people that are a nervous wreck.

But, somedays, its really depressing. Yesterday during court I witnessed something extremely sad--and although I cannot discuss it here because of confidentiality concerns--it still stunk! I consider myself pretty calloused. Even with my own divorce I had my wits about me and felt completely fine 48 hours after the initial separation, and it hasn't bothered me since. But yesterday in court, I had tears that wanted to come out while I was watching the case scheduled before mine. Of course, I had to get that under control. I can't ruin my facade of being the hard nose, butt busting divorce attorney that I like to think I am.

So, I've done what any good girl would do in this situation. I've used Jelly Bellies to make the most delicious recipes. This is a gift from one of my friends from law school. Mmm...mmm...goood!

Sticky Post...Please scroll down for new entries

As many of your know, I have recently gone through some very big changes in my life. I recently opened my own business and finalized a divorce with a husband I didn't really love. I was hoping to be able to do something to celebrate my newly found freedom once my divorce was finalized. I've always been very adventurous, and I have been searching for some way to exercise this in conjunction with my new freedom.

Last week, I was personally invited to join another orchestra when they make a European music tour. I am very honored and excited to attend. I have played the cello for sixteen years, and music has always been my first love.

The cost for this trip is $2,960.00. If you can even donate a dollar or two, that would help a lot. My goal is to at least get my passport paid for through this site. My PayPal donation button is to the left of this post, and the account is encrypted. If you would feel more comfortable not using PayPal, please send me an email: pinkchihuahuaprincess@hotmail.com. Please help me start my new life out with a bang.

Thanks in advance!

Fat Man Comes to PetMall

This past weekend Tzeitel (right) and Belicia (left) went to see the fat man, Ho! Ho! Ho! at the PetMall. Belicia asked for a new blanket, and Tzeitel asked for a new fancy pillow to sleep on in the bed at night. We'll have to wait and see if they're good girls!

Tonight I feel...

Loved
Tired (its almost 1:00am here in Gene Autry, America)
Winded
Happy
Carefree
adventurous
Musical
Family-oriented
Daring
Lolitaish
Free of unduly burdensome things and responsibilities

My goal for the week: To trust only in the L-rd to make my business grow and prosper.

I'm looking forward to: My family gettogether next Saturday, lighting Hanukkah candles, bible studies, seeing pictures of Greta's puppies, finishing my short story.

Christmas Already?

I took these pictures while driving down a busy street in OKC the other night where I met up with my family for dinner. Each tree was covered in white holiday lights, and I thought it was beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice.

Princess' Angelic Purse

The Sassy Lime recently did a really neat post on the contents of her purse, and I decided I wanted to copy her (since she got the idea from From Under the Laundry Pile I wanted to carry on the tradition) ;)

So, here is a picture of the contents of my purse in my office floor, and the outside of it. You may remember the purse from this post. It was actually filled with perfume at Victoria's Secret.

Pictures are Back!

Isn't Tzeitel cute in her new warm winter coat? In case you can't tell, its bright fushia with pink fur on the hood. The picture on the right is of our orchestra pit this past weekend.

I played for a production of the Nutcracker ballet this past weekend. I'm an art junky, and have always been. I was a professional ballet dancer, dancing the Nutcracker numerous times when I was a little younger, so it was fun to play my instrument and be on the other side of things. We had 2 principal dancers from Cinannati Ballet and others from Tulsa Ballet Theatre. It was an honor to play for them.
